I'm Chelsea!

Emotive Photographer with a goal of providing an experience while capturing the feelings of your moments.

Born and raised in beautiful Virginia with four younger siblings, the "Land of Lovers" has my heart convinced I'll never live anywhere else.

Stories have always captivated me. With so many story-telling outlets to explore, my passions led me to the creation of Babes and Waves Photography. Telling your story through photographs is so fulfilling, as I appreciate the significance these moments hold for you.

From competitive gymnast, Registered Nurse, to homeschooling married mama of six - life's ever-evolving adventures keep me energetic and excited. I really enjoy learning about light and colors, and everything that goes into making beautiful images, and the emotional feedback has truly fueled my soul.

Your continuous support has allowed Babes and Waves to open our very first STUDIO located in historical downtown Chincoteague at the Village Mall! This expansion allows us to offer even more services and provides a creative alternative to our beautiful outdoor locations.

Highly recommend!! I can’t say enough great things about Chelsea, our photo shoot, and final product. I’m so tired of my “Mom selfies”! I’ve wanted photos of my daughters and I in our favorite place on earth, Chincoteague. The photos are absolutely gorgeous, and I feel like Chelsea captured each of my three daughter’s personalities beautifully! The family pics we took are tearjerkers...nothing like a selfie!
